In a pickle?
Call Carrot.
Replacing a VantageView system? Let’s talk C-View.
A failed large display can take your lab offline for weeks. We’ve already guided labs through this exact replacement -- and we can help you plan yours before it becomes an emergency.
We’ve done this replacement before.
We’ve already helped several labs replace failed VantageView systems with C-View large medical displays, bringing firsthand experience to the replacement process.
That experience matters. A large display is the hub of the lab: every imaging, recording and mapping source runs through it, and it sits on mounting, power and control hardware that was built around the original system. When VantageView fails without manufacturer support behind it, labs are left choosing between costly workarounds and an unplanned outage. We know where these replacements get complicated, and we plan for it from day one.

What labs ask us before replacing VantageView
Have you replaced systems like ours?
Yes. We’ve already replaced failed VantageView systems with C-View in working labs, so we’re not learning on your room. We know how these systems are typically tied into the lab -- the sources feeding the display, the mounting and control hardware, and the details that tend to surface once the old system comes down.
Ask us and we’ll connect you with a lab that has already made the switch.
What equipment and connections need to be evaluated?
We start with a complete inventory of every source currently routed to your display: X-ray and fluoroscopy, hemodynamic and EP recording, 3D mapping, ultrasound, IVUS and ICE, PACS or reference workstations, and room cameras.
From there we review signal types and cable runs, the boom or ceiling mount and its capacity, power and network drops, and where staff control the display from. That tells us which C-View configuration fits and how many inputs you need, with headroom for equipment you plan to add.
What does the replacement process involve?
Step 1: A site assessment of your room and sources
Step 2: A configuration recommendation with a proposed screen layout
Step 3: Quote and approvals with your biomed, IT and facilities teams
Step 4: Removal of the VantageView system and installation and integration of C-View
Step 5: Hands-on training for your clinical staff before your first case
Most installations take 4-5 days from our team's arrival to go-live, depending on the scope of the project.
How will installation fit around our lab schedule?
We plan the install around your case calendar, not ours. Our priority is taking your room out of service for as short a window as possible. We also offer a "Zero-Downtime" installation (for an additional fee) where our team arrives on-site Friday after your last case and works over the weekend.
We coordinate directly with your biomed, facilities and IT teams, and stay on site through the first cases if you want us there.
Who supports the new system?
We do. Carrot designs, installs and supports C-View directly, so you have one team to call for the display, its interface and its integration. C-View systems include a 12-month warranty, with Warranty Plans available beyond that.
Because C-View is vendor neutral, your display support doesn’t depend on any single imaging manufacturer -- and it stays with you when you upgrade X-ray or other equipment.
From labs that made the switch
Our experience with our previous OEM left us disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and customer support. Since transitioning to the C-View Large Display, we've experienced the opposite -- Carrot Medical is attentive, proactive and committed to helping us succeed. The product itself has been outstanding and the support behind it has been equally impressive.
The Carrot team was incredibly helpful and efficient throughout the entire process. They communicated every step of the way and worked seamlessly with our staff to ensure everything was completed in a timely manner. They were also very considerate of what worked best for both our patients and staff. We truly appreciated their professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to making the process as smooth as possible.
